While I was making candy apples, my then 10-year-old son, Charlie, asked what we did with the leftover hard candy. I replied, "Nothing!" But Charlie had a brilliant idea: "You should bundle them up and sell them—it's the BEST part!" And that's how Red Rocks was born. Always pay attention to kids; they often come up with the best ideas!
